What Does The Reserve at Mills Farm Cost?
The Reserve at Mills Farm is private pay and publishes starting rates for each level of care, but rates change with availability and care needs. Ask me for current pricing and I will get you the full monthly number in writing, including care costs.
What Does the State Inspection Record Show?
The assisted living building holds 3 stars from North Carolina, issued in September 2024 after an inspection that found no problems. The four memory care villas each hold 4 stars, and none of the five licenses has had a state fine in the past three years.
The record was weaker in 2023, a couple of years after the state first licensed the community in January 2021. That year the state cited a serious violation after two residents at high risk of falling fell repeatedly, leading to emergency visits, along with slow call bell response and a resident's money going missing; the rating dropped to 1 star for a time. One villa was also cited in 2023 for giving insulin when blood sugar was too low. You can read the reports on the state inspection page for the assisted living building and the pages for each villa.

- When a villa resident would need to move to a larger memory care setting
- Which apartments are open now, and the total monthly cost with care
